    Description

    Zaditor eye drops are used to relieve itchy eyes caused by allergies to pollen, ragweed grass, animal hair, and animal dander.

    Directions

    Use Zaditor eye drops as directed. Carefully read the information that comes with the product. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns.

    Zaditor Eye Drops Dosage in Adults and Children Who are at Least 3 Years Old: Insert one drop into the affected eye(s) two times a day, every 8-12 hours. Do not use it more than two times a day.

    Avoid touching the tip of the container to any surface in order to prevent contamination. Be sure to take out contact lenses before using Zaditor eye drops; you may reinsert them 10 minutes after using Zaditor. Put the cap back on the container after use.

    Ask your doctor or pharmacist about safely using other eye drops while receiving Zaditor.

    Ingredients

    The antihistamine ketotifen (0.025%) is the active ingredient in Zaditor eye drops.

    Contraindications

    Zaditor eye drops should not be used:

    • if the solution changes color or appears cloudy
    • if you are allergic to any of the ingredients in the product
    • to treat irritation caused by contact lenses
