Description
Xylocaine Jelly 2% (Lidocaine) is a medicine used to temporarily numb specific areas of the body by blocking nerve signals that cause pain. It is commonly used during medical procedures involving the urethra, the tube that carries urine out of the body, and can also be applied to the nose, mouth, and throat to assist with intubation, which helps a person breathe. In addition, it is effective in relieving pain from conditions like urethritis, which is inflammation of the urethra that causes discomfort.
