What is a Generic Drug?
A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.
The only differences between generics and their brand-name counterparts is that generics are less expensive and may look slightly different (eg. different shape or color), as trademarks laws prevent a generic from looking exactly like the brand-name drug.

Description
Winlevi, also known as Clascoterone, is a cream used to treat acne in people aged 12 and older. It is believed to work by reducing the amount of oil (sebum) produced in the skin, which may help control acne breakouts. This cream is applied directly to the affected area on the skin. It has a white to nearly white color.
Directions
Winlevi cream is applied topically to treat acne. The standard dosage involves applying a fingertip amount (approximately 1 gram) to the affected area twice daily, typically once in the morning and once in the evening. Users should avoid applying it on other parts of the body such as the eyes, mouth, or genital areas. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. It's important to apply the cream to clean, dry skin and wash hands after application.
