Description
Uceris Rectal Foam contains budesonide, a corticosteroid used to treat mild to moderate ulcerative colitis. It is formulated for rectal administration to target inflammation in the lower part of the colon and rectum.
Budesonide works by reducing inflammation and suppressing the immune response, helping to alleviate symptoms such as rectal bleeding, pain, and diarrhea.

Cautions
Uceris Rectal Foam should be used cautiously in patients with a history of infections, high blood pressure, diabetes, osteoporosis, peptic ulcers, or any other condition that may worsen with corticosteroid use.
Prolonged use of corticosteroids can suppress the immune system, increasing the risk of infections.
