Description
Trimbow is a combination medication (beclometasone/formoterol/glycopyrronium bromide) used for the treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma in adults.
Trimbow is available as an inhaler.
Directions
Use Trimbow as directed by your doctor. Review the information that comes with your prescription and contact your doctor or pharmacy if you have any questions or concerns about the medication.
Trimbow is available in two different strengths. Your doctor will determine the appropriate strength for you based on the condition being treated and the use of other medications. Your doctor or other healthcare professional will teach you how to correctly use your inhaler.
Recommended and maximum dosing: Inhale two puffs by mouth two times a day.
Ingredients
Trimbow contains the following:
- beclometasone (corticosteroid) - helps reduce inflammation for easier breathing
- formoterol (long-acting beta-2 agonist) - helps the airway muscles relax, which keeps the airways open for easier breathing
- glycopyrronium bromide (long-acting muscarinic receptor antagonist) - helps open the airways for easier breathing
Contraindications
Do not use Trimbow if you are allergic to the medication or to any of its ingredients or excipients.
