Description
Treanda, with the active ingredient bendamustine hydrochloride, is a prescription medication used for certain types of cancer, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL).
Bendamustine is an alkylating agent that interferes with the DNA in cancer cells, preventing their growth and leading to cell death. This mechanism helps slow the progression of the disease and can shrink tumors.
