Description
Surgam (Tiaprofenic acid) is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for relieving pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and other inflammatory conditions. It works by blocking the production of prostaglandins, chemicals involved in inflammation.

Directions
Surgam is available in 300 mg tablets. The usual dose is one tablet of Surgam 300 mg twice a day, typically taken with meals. Swallow the tablet whole without crushing or chewing it. It is not recommended to be used in children under 18.

The active ingredient in Surgam is Tiaprofenic acid.
Contraindications
Speak with your healthcare provider about any allergies you have. Do not take Surgam if you are allergic to NSAIDs or any of the ingredients in Surgam. - Surgam can cause stomach or intestinal bleeding. Contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience any persistent stomach pain, blood in your stools, or black, tarry stools.
- Surgam may cause dizziness or fatigue. Refrain from driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how Surgam affects you.
