Description
Sumadan is a prescription medication specifically formulated for the treatment of acne. It is a topical gel that combines multiple active ingredients to target the underlying causes of acne and improve the skin's overall appearance. Acne is a skin condition that occurs most commonly in children and young adults.
Sumadan contains a combination of sulfacetamide and sulfur. Sulfacetamide is an antibacterial agent that helps reduce the growth of acne-causing bacteria on the skin. Sulfur has both antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, which help to reduce redness and swelling associated with acne.
Directions

To use Sumadan, thoroughly cleanse the affected areas of the skin and gently dry it before applying the gel.
Avoid contact with the eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
Ingredients
Sumadan contains sulfacetamide sodium (10%) and sulfur (5%). These ingredients work synergistically to combat acne.
The gel formulation also incorporates other inactive ingredients to ensure proper stability and effectiveness.
Do not use this medication if you are allergic to any of the active or inactive ingredients.
Interactions
There are no known significant interactions.
