Senokot S generic is used to treat constipation. This drug contains sennosides and docusate. Sennosides are also known as stimulant laxatives, and they work by keeping the water in the intestines which helps in the movement of the intestines.
Docusate is also called a stool softener, and it helps in increasing the amount of water in the stool and makes it easier and softer to pass.

Directions
Senokot-S generic is to be taken orally through the mouth. Take this drug with a full glass of water around 8 ounces, as directed by your doctor.
