Patients generally apply Preparation H cream with Bio-Dyne in the morning and at night and after each bowel movement. The applicator should be lubricated before applying the cream. Clean the applicator well after each use.
Preparation H cream with Bio-Dyne may stain clothing.
Ingredients
Bio-Dyne, a yeast as a live cell derivative, and other ingredients that help alleviate irritation, inflammation, itching, and further discomfort caused by hemorrhoids are contained in the medication.
Inactive ingredients include butylated hydroxyanisole, cellulose, cetyl alcohol, citric acid, disodium edetate, glycerin, glyceryl monostearate, glycerol oleate, lanolin, parabens, petrolatum, propyl gallate, propylene glycol, simethicone emulsion, sodium benzoate, sodium lauryl sulfate, stearyl alcohol, water, and xanthan gum.
Cautions
- Before you start treatment with Preparation H with Bio-Dyne, it's important that you tell your doctor about:
- All the medications you take, including other creams and ointments
- Your allergies
- Your health history and current medical problems
- Your pregnancy or breastfeeding status
- If your discomfort and pain does not go away or if you experience bleeding, contact your doctor right away.
- Keep Preparation H with Bio-Dyne away from children.
- Store Preparation H with Bio-Dyne at room temperature.
Side Effects
Preparation H with Bio-Dyne may cause mild rectal pain, burning, or itching. However, if you find that the medication causes side effects that bother you or won't go away, notify your doctor immediately.
