Description
Plenity is a medication that is used with diet and exercise to help patients manage their weight.
Plenity comes in individual pods that hold a single dose of three capsules.
Directions
Take Plenity as directed by your doctor. If you have any questions or concerns, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is to take 3 capsules orally with water twice daily. Take 20-30 minutes before lunch and dinner. Drink two more glasses of water after taking the capsules.
Do not use Plenity if the pod or package is damaged or if the capsules are broken or crushed.
Ingredients
Plenity capsules contain superabsorbent hydrogel particles that fully hydrate and take up about a quarter of average stomach volume. When the particles are mixed with ingested foods, a larger volume is created with higher elasticity and viscosity in the stomach and small intestine, making you feel satisfied and full.
Contraindications
Do not take Plenity if you are pregnant or if you have ever had an allergic reaction to cellulose, citric acid, sodium stearyl fumarate, gelatin, or titanium dioxide.
