Description
Mirvala (desogestrel and ethinyl estradiol) is an estrogen and progestin combination birth control pill. It prevents pregnancy by preventing the release of an egg from an ovary and by causing cervical mucus changes that make it more difficult for sperm to penetrate and for the egg to implant. Mirvala may also be used for menstrual cycle regulation.
Mirvala oral tablets that contain 0.150 mg of desogestrel and 0.030 mg of ethinyl estradiol. The medication is available in either 21-day or 28-day packs.
