Description
Lucentis is a prescription medication for serious eye problems, particularly those affecting the retina. It's given by qualified eye care professionals and has become an effective way to treat sight-threatening issues.
Lucentis works by stopping abnormal blood vessel growth in the retina, a common problem in conditions like wet age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic macular edema (DME), and macular edema from retinal vein occlusion (RVO). This reduces the risk of vision loss linked to these problems.
Directions
Only trained eye care professionals should give Lucentis to ensure it's used correctly and safely.
