Description
Your doctor may prescribe Livtencity prescription treatment specifically if you have undergone an organ transplant and are grappling with cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection due to immunosuppressive therapy.
Livtencity is a targeted therapy designed for cases where conventional treatments have proven ineffective in treating CMV infection. The drug works by binding to and inhibiting the protein kinase activity of the human CMV enzyme pUL97. This enzymatic inhibition curtails the replication of CMV viral particles.
