Juvederm injections are made into the mid-to-deep dermis layer of facial skin and the injection should be made by a cosmetic medical professional. You should not attempt to self-administer this dermal filler injection.

The active ingredient in Juvederm is Hyaluronic Acid Gel.
Cautions
Juvederm gel injections should not be made into blood vessels because of the risk of blood vessel blockage.
The injection may cause temporary discomfort or even stinging pain during administration.
