Description
Iopidine Eye Drops (Apraclonidine) are a prescription medication used to reduce pressure inside the eye in people with glaucoma or ocular hypertension. It may also be prescribed to prevent and treat an increase in intraocular pressure that may occur following eye surgery.

Directions
The typical Iopidine Eye Drops dosage is one drop in the affected eye(s) three times per day, as directed by a healthcare provider. After administering the drop, keep your eyes closed for 2 minutes and apply gentle pressure to the inside corner of the eye to prevent the medication from draining.

- The use of Iopidine Eye Drops has been associated with rare cases of depression. This medication may need to be monitored in people with a history of depression.
- Avoid touching the tip of the dropper to any surface to avoid contamination with microbes
- Store Iopidine Eye Drops at room temperature and away from light and moisture
Side Effects
The most common side effects of Iopidine Eye Drops include redness, itching, or discomfort in the eye, and dry mouth. Other possible side effects may include dry nose, nausea, nervousness, and changes in taste. Contact your doctor right away if you experience persistent or serious side effects such as signs of an allergic reaction.
