Description
Fosteum Plus is a specialized medical food product that may be prescribed for the management of Osteopenia or Osteoporosis.
The large bones of the body undergo a natural recycling process where the bone is broken down and replaced by new bone. As a person ages, their bone cells may recycle too much without appropriately replacing it. As the bones weaken, it can lead to a condition called osteopenia. Osteopenia is when the bones become more brittle, but there are no symptoms.
As the condition worsens, it can lead to Osteoporosis, and symptoms can include back pain, a stooped posture, loss of height, and frequent breaks of the bone.
Fosteum Plus works by increasing the rate at which bone tissue is rebuilt. It also helps to restore mineral density.
