Description
Many people are prescribed statin medications to help reduce their risk of heart attack and stroke. Ezallor is a formulation of rosuvastatin that can be sprinkled onto food for easier ingestion.
Ezallor works by helping to correct problems with cholesterol. There are many different types of cholesterol in the blood with different functions. Ezallor helps reduce cholesterol that damages the lining of blood vessels and increases the cholesterol that cleans blood vessels. The end effect is that Ezallor reduces the risk of blood vessel damage and harmful clots.

Take Ezallor exactly as prescribed by your healthcare provider.
The standard dose ranged from 5-40 mg by mouth once daily.
Once mixed into food, Ezallor should be taken within 60 minutes and should not be stored.
