Description
Evenity is a prescription injection for osteoporosis treatment that aids with slowing bone mass loss for women after menopause and lowering their risk of having major bone fractures. It will be prescribed for women who have more risk of these fractures and are getting insufficient results from oral menopause medications that counter osteoporosis progression well for most women when providing estrogen replacement. The active ingredient in Evenity is Romosozumab. It strengthens bones directly by blocking the function of a protein called sclerostin and stopping osteoclasts from breaking down old bones and weakening their structural integrity.
