Description
Epaned is a prescription drug that is primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). It can also be used for people with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) and for acute coronary syndromes.
High blood pressure is a chronic health condition that increases the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other vascular conditions. High blood pressure causes increased stress on blood vessels over time, which can lead to clotting events.
Heart failure is a chronic health condition where the heart is unable to pump enough blood to meet the needs of the body. Epaned helps by reducing the workload on the heart.
