Entyvio (vedolizumab) is an injectable medication administered to treat adults with moderate-to-severe ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease.
Entyvio for subcutaneous (underneath the skin) injection is available in single-dose prefilled syringes and pens containing 108 mg/0.68 mL solution.

Directions
Use Entyvio exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will determine an appropriate treatment regimen for you, including Entyvio dosing. A healthcare professional will teach you or a caregiver how to properly store, prepare, administer, and discard Entyvio.
Entyvio should be injected in the abdomen, thighs, or upper arms. Injection sites should be rotated with each injection.

Needles and syringes should never be reused or shared with others.
Ingredients
The active ingredient in Entyvio is vedolizumab.
Inactive ingredients include arginine hydrochloride, citric acid monohydrate, histidine, histidine monohydrochloride, polysorbate 80, sodium citrate dihydrate, and Sterile Water for Injection.
Contraindications
Patients with an allergy to Entyvio or to any of the other ingredients should not receive it.
Cautions
- Entyvio is associated with the following warnings and precautions:
- Hypersensitivity reactions
- Infections
- Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy
Side Effects
Nasopharyngitis, headache, joint pain, nausea, fever, upper respiratory tract infection, fatigue, cough, bronchitis, influenza, back pain, rash, itching, sinusitis, oropharyngeal pain, and pain in the legs or arms are common Entyvio side effects; however, other side effects may also occur. Immediately inform your doctor of any side effects that bother you or won’t go away.
