Directions
Clobex Shampoo is supplied as a 0.05% solution. The recommended dosage is to apply it as directed to your dry scalp once daily. Apply a sufficient amount of Clobex Shampoo to cover the affected areas, and gently massage it in. Leave it on your scalp for about 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Avoid using Clobex Shampoo for more than 4 consecutive weeks and do not exceed a dosage of 50 grams per week. Avoid contact with the eyes.
Follow the Clobex Shampoo directions closely to get the maximum benefit and minimize potential side effects. Only use Clobex Shampoo as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

Contraindications
Share any allergies you may have with your healthcare provider. Do not use Clobex Shampoo if you are allergic to clobetasol propionate or any other ingredient in Clobex Shampoo.
Cautions
- Before you start using Clobex Shampoo, communicate to your doctor:
- About all medications you take, including topical medications, non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
- If you have any medical conditions, especially skin infections, diabetes, poor blood circulation, immune system problems, or any form of skin cancer.
- If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Clobex Shampoo may harm an unborn baby or a nursing infant.
- If you are undergoing surgery.
- Clobex Shampoo may lead to thinning or weakening of your skin or adrenal gland problems. If you experience swelling of the face, ankles, or hands, skin color changes, increased urination or thirst, or unusual weight gain, stop using Clobex Shampoo and call your healthcare provider immediately.
- Clobex Shampoo may irritate the eyes. Do not get it in your eyes. If you experience blurred vision or other vision disturbances, stop using Clobex Shampoo and contact your healthcare provider immediately.
- Do not cover the scalp area while the medication is on the scalp.
- Wash hands thoroughly after using this medication.
Side Effects
The most common side effects of Clobex Shampoo include burning, stinging, itching, dryness, redness, and hair loss. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your healthcare provider promptly.
