Directions
Use Cipro HC Otic as instructed by the prescribing doctor, who will determine an appropriate Cipro HC Otic dosage for your or your child.
Shake the bottle well before using. Do not let the dropper touch any surface; this will help minimize the risk of contamination.
Keep Cipro HC Otic stored at temperatures below 25°C (77°F); do not freeze; keep out of light and away from children.

Ingredients
The active ingredients in Cipro HC Otic are ciprofloxacin hydrochloride and hydrocortisone.
Inactive ingredients include polyvinyl alcohol, sodium chloride, sodium acetate, glacial acetic acid, phospholipon 90H (modified lecithin), polysorbate, and purified water. Sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid may be added to balance pH.
Contraindications
Patients with a suspected or known perforation of the tympanic membrane, viral infections of the external ear canal, or who are allergic to hydrocortisone, ciprofloxacin, or any other quinolone medications should not use Cipro HC Otic.

- Your or your child’s allergies
- Your or your child’s current health problems and past medical history
- Your or your child’s pregnancy or breastfeeding status
- Cipro HC Otic is associated with the following warnings and precautions:
- Hypersensitivity or allergic reactions, including skin rashes or anaphylaxis
- Overgrowth of organisms that are not susceptible to Cipro HC Otic, including fungi
Side Effects
Headache and itching are some Cipro HC Otic side effects; however, patients may experience other side effects.
