Description

Directions
Brexafemme is available in 150 mg oral tablets.
Follow the instructions that come with your Brexafemme prescription. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about any questions or concerns you may have about your prescription.
The recommended dosage is to take two tablets (300 mg) by mouth two times a day for one day with or without food. Take the two doses 12 hours apart.
Before you begin taking Brexafemme, a pregnancy test should be obtained.
Ingredients
Ibrexafungerp, a triterpenoid antifungal, is the active ingredient contained in Brexafemme.
Contraindications
Do not take Brexafemme if you are pregnant.
Do not take Brexafemme if you are allergic to ibrexafungerp.
Cautions
- Before you begin treatment with Brexafemme, inform your doctor:
- Of all the medications you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements
- Of your allergies
- Of your health problems
- Of your pregnancy status. Brexafemme may cause harm to an unborn baby. Effective birth control methods should be used during treatment.
Side Effects
The most common side effects of Brexafemme include diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, and dizziness. These may not be all the side effects that can occur with the use of Brexafemme. Contact your doctor right away if you have bothersome or continuous side effects.
