Description
Your oncologist may prescribe Bosulif if you have chronic, accelerated, or blast-phase Philadelphia-chromosome-positive chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML).
It works by inhibiting the Bcr-Abl kinase that promotes cancerous growth in CML. It also inhibits several other kinases like Scr, Lyn, and Hck, which promote growth in myeloid cell lines.
