Biacna (Clindamycin-Tretinoin)

What is a Generic Drug?

A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.

The only differences between generics and their brand-name counterparts is that generics are less expensive and may look slightly different (eg. different shape or color), as trademarks laws prevent a generic from looking exactly like the brand-name drug.

Generics are less expensive because generic manufacturers don't have to invest large sums of money to develop a drug. When the brand-name patent expires, generic companies can manufacture a copy of the brand-name and sell it at a substantial discount.

    Description

Biacna is a prescription acne treatment medication for reducing the incidence of blackheads, papules, and whiteheads among the skin blemishes that occur with acne. It is a combination medication, with Clindamycin working as an antibiotic that kills the bacteria that causes acne and Tretinoin works as a powerful retinoid exfoliant by peeling away dead skin cells to prompt better renewal of the outer skin layer so that acne lesions are less able to establish themselves. This is an effective acne reducer cream and Bianca acne treatment works much better than OTC acne creams for people with severe acne.

    Directions

Cover affected skin areas with moderate amount (dime-sized) of Biacna cream once a day, and right before bed is when most people will apply the cream.

For less severe acne an every-2nd day application may be recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.

    Ingredients

The active ingredients in Biacna are Clindamycin and Tretinoin.

    Cautions

Tell your doctor if you have any history of Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, inflammation of the small intestine, or colitis associated with antibiotic use before starting on Biacna.

Use of Biacna for acne may not be suitable for those who cannot use other acne cream medications containing Lincomycin.

Do not apply cream to acne affected areas more often than once a day.

For topical use on skin only; keep away from eyes, mouth, nose, and ears and do not apply elsewhere on body where skin is broken or sunburnt or where wounds are healing.

    Interactions

There is the possibility of negative drug interactions between Biacna and other Rx medications, including erythromycin and porfimer. Tell your doctor of all medications you are currently taking before receiving a prescription and proceeding to buy Biacna online with the best Biacna price.

    Side Effects

Side effects from using Biacna are possible, and some users may experience headache, sinus infections, skin irritation due to dryness, skin redness, skin peeling, burning or stinging, or temporary changes in skin color. If side effects are experienced, you may want to discontinue use and talk to your doctor again regarding medicated acne treatment cream alternatives.
