    Description

    Anusol Plus is used to reduce swelling, itching, pain, soreness, burning, and irritation associated with hemorrhoids.

    Anusol Plus comes as a suppository (Anusol Plus 12 or Anusol Plus 24 hemorrhoidal suppositories) for rectal use only.

    Directions

    Carefully read the label on the product and the package insert for complete directions for use. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist about any questions or concerns you may have.

    Recommended dosing and instructions for use: Take one suppository out of the foil wrapper and insert it into the rectum. Insert one suppository in the morning, at bedtime, and after each bowel movement. Use one suppository up to 5 times a day.

    Anusol Plus should be stored between 59°F and 86°F (15°C and 30°C).

    Ingredients

    Pramoxine hydrochloride 20 mg, which works as a local anesthetic, and zinc sulfate 10 mg, which works as an astringent, are the active ingredients in each Anusol Plus suppository. Inactive ingredients include calcium phosphate dibasic, magnesium stearate, and vegetable oil hydrogenated.

    Contraindications

    Do not use Anusol Plus if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.

    Cautions

    • Before you begin using Anusol Plus, talk to your doctor about:
