What is a Generic Drug?

A generic drug is a copy of the brand-name drug with the same dosage, safety, strength, quality, consumption method, performance, and intended use. Before generics become available on the market, the generic company must prove it has the same active ingredients as the brand-name drug and works in the same way and in the same amount of time in the body.

The only differences between generics and their brand-name counterparts is that generics are less expensive and may look slightly different (eg. different shape or color), as trademarks laws prevent a generic from looking exactly like the brand-name drug.

Generics are less expensive because generic manufacturers don't have to invest large sums of money to develop a drug. When the brand-name patent expires, generic companies can manufacture a copy of the brand-name and sell it at a substantial discount.

    Description

Allerpet B Solution is a specially formulated liquid designed to help reduce allergies caused by pet birds. It works by minimizing feather dust and danderā€”two of the most common allergens responsible for triggering allergic reactions. This solution is especially helpful for individuals with bird-related allergies, particularly from species that produce heavy feather dust like Cockatiels, Cockatoos, and African Grays. By reducing these allergens, Allerpet B creates a healthier, more comfortable environment for both birds and their owners.

    Directions

    To apply Allerpet B Solution:

    1. If necessary, relocate the bird's cage to a warm area free from drafts.
    1. Lightly mist the bird's feathers with Allerpet B, spraying away from the head and towards the tail.
    1. Allow the plumage to dry naturally.
    1. Once the feathers are completely dry, return the cage to its original location.

This procedure should be repeated every 2 to 3 days. Additionally, it's advisable to change the cage liner daily and clean the cage thoroughly on a weekly basis to maintain a clean environment.
