Directions
Use Acanya Gel as directed.
Recommended dosing: apply a pea-sized amount of gel to the face once a day. Wash your hands completely after using.
Keep Acanya Gel at room temperature at 25°C (77°F) or less and out of children’s reach; do not freeze.

Ingredients
The active ingredients in Acanya Gel are clindamycin phosphate and benzoyl peroxide.
Inactive ingredients include purified water, carbomer 980, propylene glycol, and potassium hydroxide.
Contraindications
Patients who have had regional enteritis, ulcerative colitis, or antibiotic-associated colitis should not use Acanya Gel.
Cautions
- Before you begin using Acanya Gel, tell your doctor about:
- All the prescription and over-the-counter medications you use, including other topical products, including creams, lotions, and ointments
- Your allergies
- Your current health problems and past medical history
- Your pregnancy or breastfeeding status
- Acanya Gel should be stopped if severe diarrhea occurs.
- Reduce your exposure to the sun after applying the gel.
Side Effects
Application site pain, exfoliation, and irritation are the most common Acanya Gel side effects; however, patients may experience other side effects.
Immediately notify your doctor of side effects that bother you or won’t go away.
