Description
Abevmy is a biologic drug used to treat metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC), locally advanced, metastatic, or recurrent non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), malignant glioma, and other types of cancers.
Abevmy works by binding to vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). VEGF is a protein on the surface of endothelial cells that increases the growth of blood vessels. Stopping the activity of VEGF reduces the growth of new blood vessels that feed tumors.
