What is a Generic Drug?

Description
Tyrvaya (Varenicline Solution) is a nasal spray used to treat the signs and symptoms of dry eye disease. This prescription medication contains a selective cholinergic agonist. Specifically, it targets various nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, helping to increase tear production.
Directions
Tyrvaya is typically taken once into each nostril twice a day, approximately 12 hours apart. If a dose is missed, skip it and continue with the next scheduled dose. Do not take an extra dose to make up for the missed one.
- Preparation: Before first use, remove the cap and clip. Hold the bottle upright, place fingers on the base, and prime the spray away from your face.
- Application: Place the tip of the applicator at the entrance of your nostril. Press your tongue to the roof of your mouth, breathe gently, and press the applicator to release the mist inside your nostril.
- Post-use: Replace the cap and clip after each use to keep the applicator clean and secure.
