Canada Pharmacy: Help For Haiti

On January 12, 2010 a 7.0 magnitude earthquake devastated South Eastern Haiti, with much of the capital city Port-au-Prince reduced to rubble. Since then, aftershocks have continued to add to the destruction. The United States Geological Survey has issued warnings of continued aftershocks for the next thirty days and a possibility of more 6.0 or higher quakes striking the country.

The estimated death toll from this natural disaster is 150,000 – nearly 15% of the population of Port-au-Prince.

According to some economic experts it could take Haiti, already the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere, up to a decade to recover from the devastation of the past two weeks.
